Marta Valpiani Winery in Castrocaro chooses biodegradable twine made with TERRALIX to make vineyard cultivation more sustainable.

“The company is happy to share another small step towards eliminating plastic,” says Elisa Mazzavillani, co-owner of the winery.

“This is not the usual photodegradable plastic, which then turns into microplastics,” adds Rocco Filippi. “TERRALIX makes it possible to produce biodegradable ties that, if they fall to the ground, decompose completely naturally through the action of microorganisms present in the soil.”
